A previously unpublished "rough copy" of the silhouette of Arthur Machen, ink on paper card, by Terence Ian Fytton-Armstrong ("John Gawsworth"). Baron Scotford's original was used as the frontispiece for the second edition of The Angels of Mons, 1915 (Goldstone & Sweetser 14b, although they mistakenly attribute the drawing to "Baron Scotfield"). Joseph Vodrey's written description of this item states that this drawing (as opposed to the original, which Scotford drew c. 1913) was done in 1915, but this is an error. The drawing is undated, but Fytton-Armstrong was born in 1912.
