The map shown above was used as the frontispiece for the 1985 German publication of Die Legende von Manuel (Figures of Earth), *FoE-Ger-1 (w), published by Bastei-Lübbe. It is signed on the lower left Inv. Peter Koch 28, and on the lower right delin. H. Pesch 85. Dr. Helmut Pesch was the translator for this edition, and apparently drew this map as well, acknowledging his use of the original Koch image.
