The signature page shown at left is from a special copy of The St. Johns, presented by Mr. Cabell to his stepdaughter Priscilla Shepherd Davis (1900-1989). In addition to a presentation inscription in Mr. Cabell's hand, this copy also carries not only Mr. Cabell's and Mr. Hanna's signatures, as usual for TSJ-A1a, but also the signature of Mr. Cabell's son Ballard Cabell. Priscilla Shepherd Davis was the second of the reecently wideowed Mrs. Shepherd's children when she married Mr. Cabell in 1913.
