Notes:
The Greek quotation on the title page is from by Sophocles: The Oedipus Tyrannus: Edited for the Syndics of the University Press by R.C. Jebb, Cambridge: at the University Press, 1885, page 72. In this passage, Creon (KPE) is responding to Oedipus's (OID) claim that he has betrayed the king. A loose modern translation of the quoted line would be "as long as you say so," uttered in response to the king's charges.
