Notes:

I find it interesting that because of war-time paper rationing, A Fish Dinner in Memison was not published in England when it first appeared in 1941, but only in America, That makes this paperback printing, issued thirty-one years later, the true first English edition. However, I believe that even the most fanatic follow-the-flag zealot would have to agree that a time lapse of that duration is just too great for this issue to considered as a first printing.

The rear cover blurb erroneously states A FISH DINNER IN MEMISON is the final volume, chronologically, in "The Worm Ouroboros" group... But no! The narrative takes place during the periond covered by The Mezentian Gate, and three years before Mistress of Mistresses begins. From a publishing standpoint, it was published six years after Mistress of Mistresses, and seventeen years before The Mezentian Gate. It pays to proof read!
