Endpapers:
Full spread illustration of Manuel, his first Figure of Earth, and Miramon Lluagor at the pool of Haranton, by Frank Silverhingsten (*SS-Sw-1) was issued in a matching binding (in plan, at least, albeit on grey paper with gilt) in 1973. These are the endpapers originally used for the English (FoE-C1, 1925) and American (FoE-D1, 1925) first illustrated editions (see image above).

Notes:
According to a notice in the "From the Third Window" section of Kalki, Vol. V, No. 2 (whole No. 18), 1971: Askild & Kärnekull (AOK) planned a uniform edition of eight Cabell titles, edited by Sam J. Lundwall. Like so many of the planned reissues of First Cabell Revival, this one was never fully realized.
In another notice in the "From the Third Window" section of Kalki, this time in Vol. VI, No. 1 (whole No. 21), 1973: The notice stated that John-Henri Holmberg would replace Sam Lundwall as editor and reported that the second volume in the series, a translation of The Silver Stallion, was in the works. True to his words, Silverhingsten (*SS-Sw-1) was issued (in pale grey cloth with gilt lettering) in 1973. We note, however, that Mr. Lundwall was still listed as editor in Silverhingsten. Mr. Holmberg also requested a copy of the illustrated Jurgen, since this was planned for the next volume in the series.
AOK did print a translation of Jurgen in 1974 (*Jur-Sw-2), including most of the Pápe illustrations and decorations. This edition was issued only in paperback format, though, and after that the planned series quietly faded away.
