Notes:

In his bibliography, James Hall did not list this 1924 2nd printing, which differs from the earlier 1920 printing in several ways. At 8 in. x 5¼ in., the format is slightly larger than the 1st (7½ in. x 5 in). The wraps are a more greyish tan than the 1st printing. Internally, the frontispiece photo has been changed and the list of "Books by Mr. Cabell" has been updated. No changes have been noted in Hugh Walpole's text. The poem "The Toy Maker" has been moved from the last page of the book to page (18), at the start of the section of "Books by Mr. Cabell." The text of this section has been reset, and new entries added for Figures of Earth and The High Place. Finally, a photo of a manuscript page from Jurgen has been been placed at the end of the volume, in the location where "The Toy Maker" was found in the first printing.
