Notes:
As far as I know, the first paperback edition of The Worm Ouroboros was issued as part of the Xanadu Library series in 1962. That printing included the Orville Prescott introduction that first appeared in Worm-C1 (A). That was the only paperback printing of any of Eddison's titles until the Tolkien boom of the 1960s, when The Worm Ouroboros and all three novels in the Zimiamvian trilogy were released by Ballantine in their Adult Fantasy series. Since that time, of course, this title has come into the public domain, and has been reprinted many, many times, as have his other works.
